Free Lutein and Zeaxanthin Participate in the Research of the AREDS-2 Human Eye Disease Project of the US National Institutes of Health

In 1996, the U.S. government sponsored a large-scale human eye disease health research program, the Age-Related Eye Disease Study - AREDS for short.

(For details of the AREDS2 research results, please refer to the official website of the NEI Institute of the US National Institutes of Health: https://www.nei.nih.gov/research/clinical-trials/age-related-eye-disease-studies-aredsareds2)

In 2001, the NEI Institute of the National Institutes of Health of the United States released the research results, which confirmed the healthcare effect of the first phase of AREDS formula (vitamin C, E, beta-carotene, zinc, copper) on human eye health.

A total of 35 achievement reports have been published. See the NIH official website for details.

In 2006, based on the results of AREDS, the NEI Institute of the National Institutes of Health of the United States further proposed a human trial plan for the second phase of the upgraded formula AREDS-2. The upgraded formula of AREDS-2 is to replace the beta-carotene in the previous AREDS formula with the original free lutein and zeaxanthin in the human body and then matches it with vitamins and trace elements. Note: Free lutein and zeaxanthin are not lutein and zeaxanthin esters.

A total of 35 achievement reports have been published. See the NIH official website for details.

The results were published in 2011, confirming the healthcare functions of free lutein and free zeaxanthin in the upgraded formula of AREDS-II, especially for groups that lack lutein and zeaxanthin in their diet, and the functions are more significant and safe. Sex is better.

The formula of ZUBR Children's patented lutein uses free lutein and free zeaxanthin. It is also combined with the Phase II clinical formula of the NIH of US National Institutes of Health and is compounded with vitamin C, zinc, and European bilberry.

Among them, free lutein comes from a high-end high-quality brand with more than 20 years of accumulation - FloraGLO®. FloraGLO® Lutein is a naturally sourced visual health supplement ingredient derived from marigold flowers in the same form as the absorbable free-form lutein found in common foods such as kale, spinach, corn, and peppers. It also has 90 human experimental studies and obtained several invention patents. More than 20 years of research have shown that FloraGLO® Lutein is not only the safe, most effective, trusted, and most studied lutein brand worldwide, it has an unparalleled reputation and performance in the market.

Generally, marigolds are rich in lutein, but the content of zeaxanthin is very small. It is necessary to purify a single component of zeaxanthin to obtain a higher concentration of zeaxanthin. According to the interpretation of TFDA, it is separated and purified for specific components without permission. It is not allowed to be used as a food raw material. However, ZeaONE® is obtained from the patented calendula variety, which is different from ordinary calendula in that it has high zeaxanthin content and low lutein content, so a higher concentration of natural free zeaxanthin can be obtained without targeting a single component. ZeaONE® has been reviewed by the TFDA project and can be used as a food raw material, and has obtained the official certification of the US FDA-GRAS Notification.

Like FloraGLO Lutein, ZeaONE will set a new standard for zeaxanthin in the industry. Like the free form found in nature or the body, ZeaONE Natural Free Zeaxanthin from Calendula can help you maintain your health.

The only U.S. FDA-GRAS officially recognized marigold Zeaxanthin (GRN No. 639), excellent quality and well-documented! See: https://www.cfsanappsexternal.fda.gov/scripts/fdcc/index.cfm?set=GRASNotices&id=639

As a key product of the ZUBR brand, ZUBR children's patented lutein will keep up with the latest research results and will continue to improve and upgrade, making it an excellent product for children's eye care and one of the best choices for parents to care for their children's eyesight.
